Toronto, Canada — June 1, 2026 — The Global Centre for Fintech Innovations – Canada is pleased to announce the 2026 Cohort of its Fintech & AI: NextGen Leaders Fellowship, a fully funded online program running from June 1 to August 31, 2026. The fellowship offers participants from around the world the opportunity to deepen their understanding of fintech and AI systems, strengthen leadership and innovation capabilities, and develop real-world capstone projects under the guidance of global industry experts at no cost to accepted fellows.
This year’s cohort includes 25 fellows drawn from key sectors such as banking, fintech, and academia, representing regions across North America, Asia, Africa, and Europe. The diverse composition of the cohort reflects the Fellowship’s commitment to building a global community of emerging leaders focused on practical innovation and inclusive technology development.
The program combines core learning in fintech and AI, leadership and ethical innovation training, mentorship from global experts, and project-based learning that culminates in capstone presentations. Fellows will also benefit from a highly interactive online environment designed to support collaboration, peer learning, and practical application.
