Albert Chris PUJA PhD

Dr. Albert Chris Puja is a legal expert specialising in financial regulation and fintech regulation. He has published extensively in these fields, including contributing four chapters to the book Fintech Law and Regulation: An African Perspective (Juta: 2023). Dr. Puja is actively involved in academia, offering guest lectures, supervision, and research guidance to undergraduate, master’s and doctorate students in various areas of international, public and commercial law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, as well as a Master of Laws in International Trade, Business and Investment Law, and a Doctor of Laws from the University of the Western Cape. In addition to his academic and research pursuits, Dr. Puja has worked with leading commercial law firms, advising startups, established corporates, and government institutions on various matters, including regulatory compliance, data protection, financing, intellectual property, technology transfer, tax, and contract documentation.
